In this section you can find information about the different
electronic services offered by Banco de la República to the institutions of the financial
sector and the National Government through its Banking Operations Division.
These are: DCV –Depósito Central de Valores (Central Deposit
for Securities), through which the dematerialized managment of securities issued and
administered by Banco de la República takes place; SEN –Sistema Electrónico
de Negociación. This is the Electronic System of Negotiation of securities issued and
administered by Banco de la República in the secondary market, of Repo simultaneous
transactions and interbank loans under the figure of payment against delivery, which is
appropriate for the transparency in the formation of prices and the reduction of
non-payment risk; Foreign Exchange, through which the managment of the payment
agreements, of the Regime of International Exchange, the financing of imports and exports,
the current accounts in foreign currency and international investments, among others,
takes place. |
